"Eating Well for a Happy Family"
Nutrition is one of the most important elements of a healthy pregnancy and a healthy family, but good nutrition seems to be harder and harder to manage. Busy lives, abundant junk food, and misinformation can make it tough to follow a healthy diet to get good nutrition. So let’s talk about what it means to eat healthy during pregnancy and what we need to do to set a good example for our growing families. This workshop will cover how to eat well during pregnancy without getting bogged down in ‘rules’, what to feed babies once they are ready, and how to raise healthy kids with an appetite for good food. Join us!

We recognize that all pregnancies are different. You will have all the elements of a traditional prenatal visit, but we enhance and personalize the visits to meet your needs. Prenatal care visits are scheduled in longer sessions to include more education and preparation for your childbirth. We welcome family, significant others, and siblings to attend your visits to be a part of your pregnancy as well as your birth.
Childbirth in the birth center is natural – which means not induced, not assisted, and not medicated. Birth in the center is for women without any risk factors in pregnancy. Our staff will be there to support you throughout your labor and birth. We welcome family members into the center to help support you in labor and to celebrate in the birth of your child. We support your birth your way.
Magnolia Birth Center offers a great array of classes for childbirth preparation, infant care, breastfeeding education, fitness dance and prenatal yoga, as well as adult wellness.
